Software Engineer — .NET & AI

We are looking for a Software Engineer who builds solid technical solutions and wants to understand the problems they solve. You will join our team in Kontich and help develop Mediris, our software platform for the healthcare sector.

You will contribute from the first idea through to real-world use: exploring user needs, shaping the approach, developing the solution and following up on how it works.

What you will work on

• Develop and improve applications with C#, .NET and ASP.NET Core, from APIs and business logic to the user interface.
• Turn healthcare professionals’ needs into intuitive features, working with your colleagues and directly with customers.
• Contribute to AI features and integrations that support administrative tasks, including medical documentation.
• Explore new ideas with prototypes and turn useful solutions into reliable product features.
• Help shape architecture, performance, security and maintainability.
• Share knowledge through code reviews and technical discussions, and help improve our development practices.

What you bring

• A master’s degree in computer science, software-focused engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least two years of professional software development experience in a Microsoft environment, with C#, .NET and API development.
• Practical experience with AI applications or integrations, such as LLM APIs, text processing or automation. You can explain what you built and how you assessed its quality.
• Knowledge of Azure and an interest in both back-end and front-end development. Experience with TypeScript and Vue is a plus.
• A thoughtful approach to AI development tools, critically assessing generated code for correctness, security and maintainability.
• Analytical thinking, a sense of responsibility and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
